DIICOT prosecutors have detained five individuals for drug trafficking and psychoactive substances.

Five people from Dâmbovița County have been detained by DIICOT prosecutors for drug trafficking and psychoactive substances. Two of them, a man and a woman, were selling drugs directly from a store set up in their own home in the locality of Uliești, where customers paid between 100 and 200 lei for a dose.

The distribution network has been active since March 2024, and the investigation revealed that the banned substances were brought from Sibiu County. On Sunday, the police carried out searches at 13 addresses in Găești, Uliești, Dragodana, and Șelimbăr, confiscating drugs, precision scales, packaging bags, and sums of money. The Dâmbovița Tribunal will decide on the preventive arrest of the suspects for 30 days.
