On Tuesday evening, firefighters from Alba Iulia were called to intervene at a block on V. Goldiș street, where a smell of gas was reported in the stairwell. The intervention teams stopped the gas supply to the building and began ventilating the spaces. During the checks, a person was found dead in an apartment. Measurements taken by the DelgazGrid crew showed that the concentration of methane gas (CH4) was negative, confirming the absence of gas both in the apartment and in the stairwell. Firefighters continue to work to ensure the safety of the residents.
