On Saturday, the residents of an apartment building in Târgu Mureș requested the intervention of firefighters due to a suspicious smell of gas in the stairwell. Teams from ISU Mureș quickly arrived at the scene, where they took measurements and discovered minor gas leaks at a meter located on the first floor. To prevent any incidents, it was decided to ventilate the areas and to shut off the gas supply to the entire building until the issue was resolved. Several fire trucks participated in the intervention, including firefighting and rescue crews. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the area was secured for further checks by a team from the gas company.
