On Friday, September 26, a truck loaded with plastic pellets caught fire on the A2 highway, near Murfatlar, at kilometers 198-199. Due to the fire, traffic was affected in both directions, and the police decided to divert traffic. On the way to Bucharest, drivers are redirected through the Medgidia junction, and on the way to Constanța, from kilometer 212. Firefighters intervened with three fire trucks and a SMURD crew.
