On Sunday, a fire engine suffered a major breakdown and caught fire while responding to a dry vegetation fire in Teleorman. The firefighters called for additional help, but as they approached the area of the fire, the electrical system of the fire engine failed. Although the car was destroyed by the flames, the intervention was not affected as other crews arrived and continued extinguishing the fire. No firefighters were injured.
