Fire at an ambulance in Iași: The flames also affected the nearby vegetation

A fire broke out in the engine compartment of an ambulance belonging to the Bacău County Ambulance Service, on the European road DN28 (E583), in the locality of Strunga.

The incident occurred without patients on board, and the prompt intervention of ISU Iași was essential. Two fire-fighting vehicles with water and foam, with 10 firefighters and one officer, were mobilized to locate and stop the fire.

Additionally, there was a major risk of propagation, with the flames spreading to the nearby dry vegetation, affecting an area of approximately 100 square meters.
