The Local Council of Sector 1 has approved a new regulation that introduces penalties for the circulation and parking of vehicles in prohibited areas. Individuals using electric scooters or other motorized vehicles in parks, playgrounds, and public gardens are subject to fines ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 lei.

Additionally, drivers who park on green spaces or block public parking will be penalized. The Local Police will be able to impose fines for the circulation of vehicles in markets, fairs, and alleys, as well as for the unjustified occupation of multiple parking spaces by a single vehicle. The regulation also provides for the possibility of towing vehicles in case of violations. The new measures were announced on the Facebook page of the Sector 1 City Hall.
