A 58-year-old man died in a fire that broke out in Bacau, and two women had panic attacks and were transported to the hospital.

A fire broke out in a residential house in the town of Comănești, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old man and the injury of two women who suffered panic attacks. According to the Bacau Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU), the man was found dead by the firefighting crews that arrived at the scene, which intervened with several fire trucks to extinguish the fire.

The fire affected an area of approximately 80 square meters of the house and an outbuilding. The two women were transported to the hospital for medical care. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
