A person was found charred in a car engulfed in flames, on DN1A

A tragic incident occurred on the national road DN1A, between the localities of Săcele and Cheia, where a car caught fire in a refuge. Calls to 112 were made by several drivers who noticed the fire, but due to the intense flames, they could not check if anyone was inside the vehicle.

After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered a charred man in the back seat of the car. The victim, a 44-year-old man, was taken to the forensic medicine. Prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office next to the Brașov Court are investigating the incident, considering the hypothesis of suicide. An investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy.
