A third deceased person following the explosion in a building in Rahova, confirmed by Raed Arafat

The Secretary of State Raed Arafat announced that the death toll from the explosion in a building in Sector 5 of the Capital has risen to 3. Another 13 people were injured and were transported to six hospitals in Bucharest, bringing the total number of victims to 17, according to statements by Bogdan Oprița, head of the UPU-SMURD Bucharest.

Of these, 12 are directly related to the explosion, while 3 were collateral victims. Currently, two people are in serious condition, including a 17-year-old adolescent who is intubated and hospitalized at Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital. The last deceased victim was found under the rubble by search and rescue teams.
