A man from Brăila was taken to the hospital with burns on 80% of his body after an explosion followed by a fire.

An explosion caused by the accumulation of gas from a bottle occurred in a residence on Gheorghe Munteanu Murgoci Street in Brăila, followed by a fire. The Brăila Fire Department 1 promptly intervened with two fire trucks and an SMURD ambulance.

A 35-year-old man, conscious, was taken by an ambulance from the County Ambulance Service, suffering burns on approximately 80% of his body. The fire affected the property in the kitchen and the ceiling over an area of approximately 10 square meters. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the explosion and assess the damages.
