EBR has issued clarifications regarding the facilities granted to certain companies, such as Electrocentrale Craiova and Blue Air, stating that these represent exposures of the Romanian state, not financing approved by the bank. The approval of these facilities is exclusively the responsibility of the state, through CIFGA or the Government, while the bank acts only as an agent in the technical analysis process of the requests. Additionally, the bank has confirmed that it will no longer grant financing products in the name of the state from September 30, 2025. Regarding the change of headquarters, Exim Banca Românească has ensured that all steps have been legally respected, and the sublease contract has been approved by the Board of Directors, without any legal violations being found. The bank's management is composed of a team with solid experience, and the appointment of the Board of Directors was carried out through a transparent procedure. The bank requests the media and decision-makers to accurately reflect its activity, emphasizing its importance in the Romanian financial system.
