Salt Bank has nominated Roxana Cristea for the position of Chief Business Officer, with the appointment pending approval from the National Bank of Romania. In her new role, she will oversee product development, commercial operations and the Care Center division, as the bank seeks to turn its rapid growth into sustainable commercial success.
Roxana Cristea has experience launching digital banking products, including digital loans, virtual credit cards and mortgage solutions. Previously, she coordinated teams and projects focused on simplifying and improving access to banking services.
At Salt Bank, she will work with the teams to develop new products, improve the customer experience and expand the use of the bank’s services. Cristea says that her experience in her first job, at a call center, gave her important insight into the need to listen to and understand customers.
Salt Bank CEO Robert Anghel says the bank has reached nearly 70% active customers, while its loan portfolio has doubled compared with the end of last year. Two and a half years after its launch, the institution is entering a new stage, with the goal of becoming the primary bank for an increasing number of customers and scaling its operations.
