Denmark's Eurowind Energy has announced a €174.8 million investment to build a 220 MW solar park in Vșina, Dâmbovița. The project, which will occupy 345 hectares and include more than 400,000 photovoltaic panels, will produce 400 GWh of electricity annually, enough for 150,000 households. This is the fifth solar park developed by Eurowind in Romania, with plans to operate a local portfolio of 124 MW by 2025. Eurowind has also ordered Vestas wind turbines for its projects in the country.
