Eugen Tomac: "I rely on the rational attitude of the parties"

Eugen Tomac stated that he will base the process of forming the government on the support of political parties and parliamentarians who share European values and a common vision for the partnership with the United States.

Before the consultations with the Save Romania Union, Tomac emphasized the need to act with maturity and responsibility to ensure a stable government. He stated that it is essential to collaborate with parties that share the same pro-Western values.

Tomac expressed confidence that a necessary compromise will be found to overcome political uncertainty, warning that each day without a functional government makes Romania more vulnerable. Consultations with parliamentary parties, including the National Liberal Party, began on Monday, and Tomac is optimistic about forming a majority.
