A 49-year-old employee from Prahova suffered a cardiac arrest while checking the electrical network.

A 49-year-old employee suffered a cardiac arrest while performing checks on the electrical network in a hard-to-reach area of Balta Doamnei commune, Prahova County. Medical teams, including firefighters from the Balta Doamnei Work Point and a SAJ ambulance, intervened quickly.

Although a SMURD helicopter was initially requested, the medical staff decided to transport the victim by car to continue resuscitation efforts. ISU Prahova confirmed that the incident was not caused by electrocution, but represented a medical emergency. Firefighters assisted in transporting the victim from the field to the ambulance, where resuscitation maneuvers were initiated before being taken to UPU Ploiești.
