Elena Udrea, former Minister of Tourism, underwent abdominal surgery at the Ploiești County Emergency Hospital after complaining of abdominal pain. The hospital's medical director said that her health is favorable and that the patient remains hospitalized in the surgical ward. The operation was considered minor and not life-threatening.
