Constanța police detained a woman with no medical training who is suspected of illegally performing cosmetic procedures at a piercing and tattoo parlor. The procedures offered included cosmetic operations for women and interventions to enlarge male sexual organs, which could have endangered clients’ health.

The woman came to investigators’ attention after posting images and information online about the procedures she performed. The parlor had become known among men who traveled from several parts of the country for such interventions.

According to information reported by Digi24, prices started at approximately 500 lei for procedures considered simple and reached up to 6,000 lei for the most complex ones. The activity was carried out without the woman having the qualifications required to perform medical procedures.

The suspect was detained for 24 hours and brought before magistrates in Constanța. The judges decided that she should be investigated under judicial supervision, while the investigation continues to establish all the procedures performed and any potential consequences for the clients.
