Înainte de acest caz, polițiștii Capitalei au făcut percheziții într-o locație promovată drept salon de masaj, reținând patru persoane într-un dosar de proxenetism. Potrivit anchetatorilor, activitatea ar fi implicat întreținerea de acte sexuale contra unor sume între 650 și 2.500 de lei, iar banii ridicați în urma perchezițiilor au inclus aproximativ 80.500 de euro, proveniența lor nefiind justificată. Dosarul a fost coordonat de Parchetul de pe lângă Judecătoria Sectorului 3, iar cercetările au continuat pentru stabilirea întregii implicări a celor reținuți.

A 34-year-old woman was detained for 24 hours on suspicion of facilitating prostitution at a beauty salon in Bucharest’s Sector 6. Following the searches, police seized more than 185,300 lei, the source of which could not be justified.
Police officers from the Sector 6 Criminal Investigation Service, assisted by officers from Police Sections 20 and 22, carried out two home searches on Thursday in Bucharest and Ilfov County. The operation was coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Sector 6 District Court.
According to investigators, between May and October, the suspect, as the administrator of a commercial company, allegedly made a property in Sector 6 available for use as a beauty salon. The premises were allegedly used by several women to have sexual relations with different clients, an activity the suspect allegedly facilitated.
The money and other items considered relevant to the investigation were seized during the searches. The woman was located under a summons warrant and taken in for questioning, after which police ordered her detention.
The investigation continues in a criminal case concerning pimping on a continuing basis, under the supervision of prosecutors. The suspect is to be brought before the judges with the legally required proposals.
