On Tuesday, a possible drone fragment was discovered on the beach in Mamaia, and specialists were dispatched to retrieve the object and determine its origin. This is the third time in February that drone fragments have been found along the coast.

On February 9, border police identified metal debris on the beach in Mamaia, suspecting it belonged to a drone. The Ministry of National Defense explained that, in the previous week, exercises involving live fire on single-use aerial targets took place at the Capu Midia range, and the debris could have been brought ashore by the waves. Another drone was recently found between Costinești and Tuzla, without visible markings.
