Bogdan Ivan, former PSD minister, stated that the removal of Dragoș Vlad from the position of head of the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR) was a "political execution". Ivan emphasizes that Vlad, a non-political professional, was dismissed because he did not agree to comply with the political demands of the #Rezist group.
He claims that Vlad delivered concrete results, including the establishment of the Government Cloud, and contributed to the achievement of three PNRR milestones. Ivan contests the official reasons cited for the dismissal, related to issues at SEAP and Ghișeul.ro, arguing that these were part of a modernization process already underway. In contrast, the Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, mentioned "failures in the chain" of ADR, arguing that Vlad was dismissed for poor management of digital infrastructure. Ivan concludes that Vlad's dismissal reflects a political practice of replacing professionals who do not align with the political agenda.
