Dragoș Pîslaru, the Minister of European Funds, reacted to the criticisms from PSD leaders directed at Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, stating that they should feel ashamed. Pîslaru emphasized that Bolojan accepted the position of prime minister at a critical moment for the country, taking on difficult and necessary responsibilities to emerge from the crisis.
He highlighted the importance of economic reforms based on investments, not consumption, and stressed that Bolojan has demonstrated professionalism in administration. Pîslaru criticized PSD for avoiding reform measures during its time in government and pointed out that Bolojan had the courage to take on unpopular measures necessary for the modernization of Romania. He concluded by stating that Bolojan must remain in office to continue these essential reforms.
