Ilie Bolojan attacks the PSD following the budget adjustment and criticizes the health minister

PNL leader Ilie Bolojan criticized the PSD after the adoption of the emergency ordinance on the budget adjustment, accusing the party of abandoning the “blackmail” of blocking the procedure and of attacking the decisions of its ministers after they had been approved by the Government.

In a message posted on Facebook, the former prime minister said official data confirmed a reduction in the budget deficit and an increase in public investment. According to Bolojan, the deficit reached 3.81% of GDP after the first nine months, compared with 5.31% during the same period in 2025, while public investment increased by more than 25 billion lei.

Bolojan said the budget adjustment confirmed the financial situation inherited by the current Executive and urged the PSD to focus on governing rather than political attacks. He also criticized Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete, accusing him of failing to allocate funds according to priorities and of failing to attract approximately 700 million lei from European funds available through the NRRP and cohesion policy. The accusations concern the management of the Health Ministry’s budget, with the message not presenting a response from the minister.
