On Wednesday morning, DNA prosecutors launched searches at the Constanța City Hall, aiming to verify documents related to the organization of the Christmas market in the city center. The market, held in Ovidiu Square, generated controversy in the public space, especially due to some teddy bears hanging on a dilapidated building, which were later removed by the organizers.
The company White Car Line SRL, responsible for organizing the event, paid the amount of 117,000 lei to the city hall to be able to carry out the activity in that space. The DNA investigation highlights concerns related to the management of public funds and the organization of events in the city.
