The DNA prosecutors continue the hearings in the bribery case of the general mayor Ciprian Ciucu.

The prosecutors of the Second Section of the DNA continue the hearings in the case of the general mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, accused of bribery. Currently, Ciucu is under the preventive measure of judicial control and is participating in the Extraordinary Congress of the PNL, where he criticized 'the System'.

Recently, the DNA obtained the arrest of Odeta Nestor, a close associate of Ciucu, and a Bulgarian citizen, for acts of bribery. In the continuation of the investigation, the prosecutors are hearing Jordanian real estate developers, the Moh brothers, and Yuan Ștefan, a Romanian citizen of Chinese origin, business associates with the mayor.

All three are placed under judicial control for 60 days, in the context of bribery allegations. This complicated situation raises questions about the integrity of local administration and the relationships between politicians and the business environment.
