The circulation of the metro on Line 4, between the stations 1 Mai and Jiului, was interrupted on Wednesday at 3:30 PM, according to the announcement from Metrorex. The incident was caused by a piece of the tunnel ceiling detaching, but the company assured that no train or passenger was affected.

Metrorex teams are working to remedy the situation and resume circulation according to the approved schedule. Currently, circulation is operating normally between the stations Gara de Nord 2-1 Mai and Jiului-Străulești. Passengers are informed through the sound systems in the stations and trains, and Metrorex has apologized to the public for the inconvenience caused. The company will provide updates regarding the resumption of circulation under normal conditions.
