Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, reacted to the false information that appeared in the press, which claimed that she would block access to the selection for the director of Apele Române for candidates without an electronic identity card. On Facebook, Buzoianu labeled these rumors as "fake news worth 2 lei," stating that it is manipulation or nonsense. She clarified that all candidates must submit a copy of any form of identity card.
Buzoianu expressed concern about the negative impact of disinformation but assured that she will continue to communicate accurate information. The deadline for submitting applications is January 12, and interviews will take place between January 14 and 16. The position of general director of Apele Române has remained vacant following the resignation of Florin Ghiță, after the drinking water scandal in Prahova.
