The National Road Investment Company has set May 20, 2025 as the deadline for submission of bids for the contract for the design and execution of the section 1 of the A8 'Unirii' highway, after rejecting a challenge

The contract for the design and execution of the section 1 Targu Neamt (Moțca) - Targu Frumos of the A8 'Unirii' highway, worth about 6 billion lei, was relaunched after the rejection of the appeal of Kido Consult Proiect Construct SRL. The new deadline for submission of bids is May 20, 2025, and the project duration is 46 months. The section will include 36 bridges, 4 tunnels and 3 road junctions and will be financed by European funds.
