Daniel Băluță, the acting mayor of Sector 4 and the PSD candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, stated in an interview for G4Media that the accusations regarding his connections with organized crime groups, such as the Sports Clan or the Văncică Clan, are just 'legends'. He emphasized that significant progress has been made in Sector 4, including a reduced crime rate and the construction of new police stations.

Băluță also commented on his relationship with Marian Goleac, the former head of ADP, accused of collaborating with organized crime groups, stating that justice has intervened in this case and that he has taken measures to prevent such situations in the future. The mayor stressed the importance of learning from experiences and implementing solutions to ensure transparency and safety in the sector he leads.
