The municipality of Cut in Alba County was the subject of a report by the Court of Accounts, which highlighted illegal expenses of over 113,000 lei for 38 mobile phone subscriptions, during the period from November 2023 to November 2025, under the conditions in which the administration has only 10 employees.

The report emphasizes that these expenses were unjustifiably increased and that public procurement was not included in the annual programs, contrary to the legislation in force.

Additionally, inspectors found that the Cut Municipality made direct purchases worth 8.7 million lei without complying with the notification obligations in SEAP.

The failure to comply with its own preventive financial control was also reported, with commitments and payments being made without the necessary prior approval, contrary to Law no. 273/2006 on local public finances.
