The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, announced that all Romanian citizens in the Middle East are safe and that no incidents have been reported. Groups of children are accompanied by adults and are in contact with consular teams, and the MFA recommends that Romanians register in the consular database. On Monday morning, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is participating in an emergency meeting at the Government to discuss evacuation plans.

Evacuation will be possible after the airspace is reopened or when land transit becomes safe, in the context where rocket fire continues, and the situation remains tense. Romania firmly condemns the Iranian attacks.
