On Friday, September 25, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Greek authorities had not notified the Embassy of Romania in Athens of any Romanian citizens among those affected by two incidents in Greece: the collapse of a building in central Athens and a fire that broke out aboard a ferry off the island of Mykonos.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs took action through the Embassy of Romania in Athens and requested official information from the local authorities. So far, the diplomatic mission has also received no requests for consular assistance in connection with these events.
