The National Administration of Meteorology has issued a Code Yellow warning for atmospheric instability, valid Monday between 12:00 and 23:00. The affected regions include counties in Oltenia, southern Transylvania, north-western Muntenia and the Southern Carpathians. Heavy downpours, thunderstorms, strong winds with gusts of 50-70 km/h and possible hail are expected. Water amounts may reach 20-30 l/mp, and in restricted areas even more than 40 l/mp. The affected counties are Mehedinți, Dolj, Olt, Gorj, Vâlcea, Argeș, Hunedoara, Alba, Sibiu, Brașov, and partially Prahova and Dâmbovița.
