The National Meteorological Administration has issued a yellow warning for significant rainfall for most of Muntenia, southeastern Oltenia, the Curvature Carpathians, and the municipality of Bucharest. The warning is valid from October 12, 10:00 a.m., until October 13, 10:00 a.m.
In the affected areas, rainfall amounts will reach 20–30 liters per square meter, and in isolated areas may exceed 40–50 liters per square meter, over short intervals or through accumulation.

The NMA has also issued a weather bulletin valid until Tuesday morning, announcing rain in all regions, mixed precipitation at altitudes above 1,500 meters, and strengthening winds. Rain will gradually spread on Sunday from the west and cover most of the country, becoming more frequent in the southeast on Monday. In the mountains, especially in the Southern and Curvature Carpathians, gusts may reach 70–90 km/h.
The weather will gradually cool, first in the west and northwest, then across the rest of the country.
In Bucharest, temperatures will drop from 28–29 degrees on Sunday to 15–16 degrees on Monday, when rain is forecast for almost the entire day.
