The National Administration of Meteorology has announced a Code Yellow Heat Alert for Sunday, between 12 and 21 hours, in the counties of Dolj, Olt, Teleorman, Giurgiu, Călărași, Ilfov and Bucharest. The temperature will reach 35-36°C, and the temperature-humidity index will approach 80 units, indicating increased thermal discomfort. The weather will be scorching, and at the beginning of next week, the heat wave will extend and intensify in the south of the country.
