The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) has issued a new warning for drivers who wish to purchase road user fees, identifying two unauthorized websites: www.rovinietadigitala.ro and www.tollvignettes.com.

These sites, belonging to the company Roadwise Group B.V. from the Netherlands, do not have authorization to collect the fee for using the national road network. Users who purchase the road user fee from these platforms are charged approximately 30% more than the actual price, in the form of a 'Registration Fee'. CNAIR has previously warned about the portal erovinieta.net, which applies an additional cost of 12%. The official price for a 12-month road user fee is 254.02 lei, but on the unauthorized websites, drivers pay 330.00 lei. CNAIR emphasizes that it does not assume responsibility for issues arising from transactions made on these sites and recommends purchasing the road user fee only through official channels, without additional fees.
