The National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR) has obtained a final court ruling, forcing Italian builder WeBuild to pay more than 80 million lei (about €16 million) for delays of more than 800 days in the completion of the Brăila Bridge. Although the bridge was inaugurated on July 6, 2023, structural problems have already emerged, and CNAIR has demanded remedies to protect public funds and ensure the project's completion.
