CFR SA announces the installation of sound-absorbing panels at the Constanța bridge and in Chitila to reduce rail noise, with an investment of almost 11 million lei.

The National Railway Company CFR SA will start work on the installation of sound-absorbing panels on the Bucharest North-Constanta and Bucharest North-Predeal railway lines, allocating almost 11 million lei for 800 meters of panels. The project aims to reduce the noise generated by trains in inhabited areas, with an estimated reduction of about 10 dB(A). The works will last about 5 months and are scheduled to be completed early next year.
