Raul Doicescu, a well-known businessman and founder of the construction company Bog'Art, was the victim of a serious threat in June 2026.
A former employee, identified as P.I., sent him a letter under the pseudonym 'Boris Marius', demanding the sum of 600,000 euros and threatening that he would shoot his son if he did not pay. The letter was received on June 18, and the accused warned that he would act quickly if Doicescu reported to the authorities. Investigators discovered that P.I. is a member of a hunting association and legally owns two lethal weapons.
To hide his identity, he used a remote post office and a phone purchased specifically to commit the act. On August 2, 2026, P.I. was detained for 24 hours by the criminal investigation authorities.
