The prosecutors from the National Anti-Corruption Directorate – Brașov Territorial Service have decided to send to trial the defendant Blănaru Ancuța-Ofelia, former executive director of the Brașov Public Health Directorate, for five offenses of allowing unauthorized access to confidential information, with the aim of obtaining undue benefits.

Between 2021 and 2025, she allegedly disclosed information about unannounced inspections of the Public Health Directorate to representatives of the Brașov County Emergency Clinical Hospital, providing guidance for their preparation. The defendant allegedly benefited from preferential access to medical services for close individuals, in exchange for disclosing this information. She also informed a hospital about an imminent health inspection, thus avoiding the sanctioning of the unit. The case has been sent to the Brașov Tribunal, with a proposal to maintain the preventive measure.
