RO-ALERT in Voluntari–Pipera: a wild boar was observed on a street in the area

The authorities issued a RO-ALERT message, announcing the presence of a wild boar on Erou Iancu Nicolae street in the Pipera area of Voluntari.

ISUBIF recommends that citizens avoid the area, stay indoors, and keep a distance from the animal, warning against attempts to photograph or feed it.

Animal behavior specialists emphasize the importance of remaining calm and seeking shelter in buildings or yards in case of an encounter with the boar. Additionally, it is recommended to contact emergency services at 112 in case of aggressive behavior from the animal.

The presence of wild boars in residential areas is caused by real estate expansion and the reduction of natural habitat.
