The AUR party accuses President Nicușor Dan of delaying the appointment of a new Prime Minister, which would lead Romania into a constitutional crisis. AUR considers that the interim government, led by Cătălin Predoiu, lacks legitimacy and capacity to act. The AUR also claims that the May 28 consultations were not serious, but focused on austerity measures, refusing to participate due to lack of impartiality. AUR is therefore asking the Constitutional Court to restore the institutional balance.
