The National Administration of Meteorology has announced a code yellow heatwave on Sunday in southern Oltenia and south-western Muntenia, with maximum temperatures of 35 degrees. Discomfort will increase and the night will be tropical. Next week, the heatwave will extend to the south and west of the country, with highs of up to 39 degrees. There will also be showers and thunderstorms in some areas, and the discomfort will be more pronounced, especially in Bucharest.
