AnimaWings suspends all flights, one day after filing for insolvency

The airline AnimaWings is suspending all its flights. The measure was taken one day after the operator requested the opening of insolvency proceedings at the Bucharest Tribunal.

Reservations can no longer be made on the company’s website for a large part of the flights scheduled for the coming period, although the destinations continue to be displayed. According to the publication BoardingPass, many of the flights scheduled for Thursday were canceled, information confirmed by ROMATSA and Eurocontrol data.

“Flights are temporarily suspended until the flight plans are reorganized. Our priority at this moment is informing passengers and minimizing the impact on them,” AnimaWings representatives said.
