The host of the show "Culisele Statului Paralel", Anca Alexandrescu, declared that she will run with 99% certainty in the elections for the Capital City Hall, scheduled for December 7. She emphasized that she is prepared to face challenges and criticism, having a "strong stomach". Alexandrescu mentioned that she needs the support of Romanians to change the situation in the country and interpreted the election date as a divine signal. Although she did not specify whether she will run as an independent or with the support of a party, she has been included in polls as a possible candidate from the sovereignist area.

In the latest polls, Alexandrescu has a rating of 10%, ranking fourth in voting intentions, behind Daniel Băluță (25%), Cătălin Drulă, and Ciprian Ciucu (18%). Anca Alexandrescu has extensive experience in communication and politics, having ties with PSD and various positions in the government. She is also a moderator at Realitatea Plus, where she gained popularity.
