TV presenter Anca Alexandrescu stated on Tuesday evening that she will submit her candidacy for the Capital City Hall, mentioning that this will be the last week in which she will moderate the show "Culisele Statului Paralel" on Realitatea PLUS. Alexandrescu emphasized that she wants to run an honest campaign, without resorting to populist methods or excessive spending.

Additionally, the AUR Party, led by George Simion, has not yet decided whether it will support her, waiting for the results of an ongoing poll to determine the candidate. Currently, the competition for the Capital City Hall is tight, with Daniel Băluță (PSD) and Ciprian Ciucu (PNL) leading in preferences, while Anca Alexandrescu is in fourth place, with 16% in voting intentions, according to recent polls.
