A company from Constanța paid 40,000 lei to the PFA of Cristelei Georgescu without proof of service provision. ANAF is extending the checks.

An ANAF investigation has revealed that Marsala Koncept SRL, a company from the Port of Constanța, paid 40,000 lei to the self-employed individual Cristea Georgescu, the wife of former presidential candidate Călin Georgescu, without being able to prove the provision of services. The report from the judicial administrator shows that there is no evidence for the activities carried out by Georgescu. The company, specialized in fuel trade, has gone into insolvency, having debts of over 25 million lei and a drastic decrease in turnover. The owner of the company, Elbis Osman, has been accused of financial embezzlement and fraudulent management.

Additionally, Marsala Koncept has been involved in scandals related to diesel exports to Tiraspol, and ANAF is now investigating the legality of the payments to self-employed Georgescu, considering the connections with associates of Călin Georgescu. The income of 40,000 lei does not appear in his wealth declarations, which raises further suspicions.
