The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has begun enforcement procedures against Marian Vanghelie, following a final court decision that convicted him for receiving a bribe of 30 million euros.

ANAF aims to recover the amount of 13.7 million lei, plus 20,000 lei in legal expenses. The actions include the liquidation of two apartments located on Bulevardul Dacia in Bucharest, and ANAF will continue to identify other assets or income of the debtor. The court's decision established Vanghelie's obligation to pay the confiscated amount and maintained the seizure on the real estate. ANAF has started the evaluation of the properties, requested additional documents from the DNA, and imposed a seizure on movable assets, including a Mercedes car and shares in various companies. In the upcoming period, ANAF will liquidate the real estate after evaluation and will continue checks to fully recover the budgetary claim.
