A traffic accident recently occurred on the A3 Highway, in the direction of Bucharest – Ploiești, in the area of Gruiu, Ilfov County. An explosion in the tire of an empty truck led to its overturning on the roadway, affecting both directions of travel. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

The Infotrafic Center announced traffic restrictions on lanes 1 and 2 in the direction towards Ploiești and on lane 2 in the direction towards Bucharest, and traffic values are increasing. Authorities issued an alert message at 12:30, and social media users posted images from the accident site. Traffic is affected, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
