On Saturday, in the resort of 2 Mai, a 55-year-old man died after he walked into the sea with a board and fell into the water. Constanța County Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and an SMURD crew to the scene. The lifeguards managed to bring him to shore, but the man was unconscious. The medical staff found a cardiorespiratory arrest and started resuscitation maneuvers, but unfortunately they were unsuccessful and the man was declared dead.
